3 Things I want you to know about eat.money

The older I get the more and more I realize that my most valuable asset is time. I look at CEOs, presidents, and other super successful people and something think that they have a magic remote like Adam Sandler does in Click that lets them pause time. How else would they be able to get everything done?

So here you are trying to better your life looking for some guidance, inspiration, shoot, maybe even looking for someone to even listen. Why the heck should you spend your time reading this blog? To be honest, I don’t have a great answer for you. All I can be is upfront and honest with you in hopes that you value this blog enough to come back. Here are three things I’ll be upfront about

1: I’ve made a ton of mistakes

I hear ya. Why would you spend my time at eat.money when there are a ton of other individuals that don’t seem to make a whole lot of mistakes? I will share all my previous miscues and hopefully I can help you avoid what I’ve done in the past.

Not to mention I actively follow a lot of blogs and this isn’t just about whats going on in m life. This is about finding the best resources and pointing to them. I’m not here for clicks. I want to help both you and myself by finding the best resources and guidance.

As I hear useful information on podcasts like Afford Anything or websites like Financial Samurai I’ll point you in the right direction.

2: I’m taking you on my journey

While I’ve still got a long way to go I think I’ve done okay for myself so far. In 7 years I went from -54k in net worth to +200k. I’m proud of what I’ve done and I’m working everyday to learn from what I’ve done well and not make my same mistakes again.

This is just the tip of the iceberg though. I believe that success is exponential and I’m still more or less moving side to side. My curve hasn’t started pointing up yet. I can’t wait for that to happen and I want you to be there when it does.

3: I’m here to help

The bottom line is that this blog is about you. Yes I’ll be sharing a ton about myself, but that is just to make you better. I read a ton and have learned so much in my short time as an “adult”. I want to share that wisdom, knowledge and experience.

There it is. Short and sweet. I know how valuable your time is. I know you’ve got family, work, your health, sleeping, eating, blah blah blah. Its a super long list and I’m just sitting here trying to add myself to it. Give me a shot and I’ll do my best not to disappoint.
